A collaboration between Free Oakland UP and Mills College MFA students. Each of the ten artists featured in the show has selected an item from the Free Oakland UP collection and has altered it or otherwise incorporated it into his or her own work. The artists are interested in the act of transformation by seeing the potential in what are considered to be cast-offs.
